Sign language classes begin March 22

Southeast Community Center of the Deaf, a program of Deaf Services Center, Inc., will offer an American Sign Language Class starting March 22. The class will be offered once a week for 10 weeks from 5 to 7 p.m. at 14 Arcade Place, Newark.
The classes will have a fee of $65 and a $20 one-time cost for the textbook, which will be used throughout the classes. Flexible payment plans are available.
SCCD is a not-for-profit corporation which serves the southeast Ohio area. This organization provides sign language interpreting, case management, advocacy services, youth programs, and support services for children and adults who are deaf.
