Do you know that Mann Theatres in Southern California offer OPEN CAPTIONED FILMS of their first-run films????? They are called DTS-ACCESS .
For more info, go to www.manntheatres.com and look for Tickets and Showtimes then click DTS-ACCESS. You will see a listing of films for the deaf and hard of hearing that are open captioned.
Among them is "The Amityville Horror" that will be open captioned on Tuesday April 26 and Thursday April 28 at the Granada Hills Theatre in Northridge.
You can also look at the showtimes in the newspapers. Be sure to look for DTS-ACCESS.

Friday May 6---- Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Their Families and Friends Gathering at the Grove/ Farmers Market---- 6pm until late.
A monthly gathering. Farmers Market is at 3rd Street and Fairfax in Los Angeles. We meet by the Coffee Bean venue in front of the tall Farmers Market Tower Clock. Plenty of good restaurants to choose in the area including the brand new Cheesecake Factory at the Grove. The Whisper Lounge is also a nice place to have a romantic and quiet place for dining.
