For tutors of the hearing impaired

To create more awareness on Cochlear Implants and Auditory Verbal Therapy amongst the general population and teachers of the hearing impaired, the KKR ENT Hospital and Research Institute conducted a scientific programme on 'Auditory Verbal Therapy' here yesterday.

Dagmar Herrmannova, a specialist Speech & Hearing Therapist from the Czech Republic spoke on Auditory Verbal Therapy and Cochlear Implants. Dr Ravi Ramalingam, managing director of the KKR ENT, dealt with the advances in surgery for cochlear implant.
