Special deaf ministry service set

The Rev. Arnold Austin and the Praise Hands Team of the First Baptist Deaf Church in Baton Rouge will be in town Sunday evening as guests of the Morgan City First Baptist Church.

Services at the local church, 1915 Victor II Boulevard, will be both signed and spoken by Austin, and the Praise Hands Team will "sing" with their hands using sign language.

All of the witness team are hearing impaired but Arnold, who speaks but has committed his ministerial energies to witnessing to the deaf through sign language.

The service begins at 7 p.m. and the public, especially the hearing impaired, are welcome.

A nursery will be provided for all pre-kindergarten aged children.
