PM lauds Pak deaf team for marvellous performance against India

ISLAMABAD, May 21 (Online): Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has complemented the Pakistan Deaf team on its excellent performance and 4-1 victory over India and assured it that all possible facilities would be provided to its members to further improve their sporting skills.
This observation was made by Prime Minister during his meeting with the members of the Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association who called on him at the PM House on Friday.
The PM said that the government is committed to providing healthy entertainment to the people particularly the youth and efforts are being made to improve and upgrade sports facilities all over the country.
The PM said that our youth are endowed with immense potential which needs to be channelised for constructive pursuits.
The Prime Minister also gave cash awards to the victorious team and lauded the efforts of the Captain and Coach of the team in providing excellent training to the team members. He hoped that the team would bring more luarels to the country in days to come.
The Coach of the team Abdul Salam in his welcome address appreciated the gesture of the Prime Minister to invite the cricket team and said that this was the first time that any Prime Minister has recognized their talent. End.
