Support Deaf Foundation

Residents across the region are encouraged to assist the Deafness Foundation by purchasing a butterfly badge from Fishers IGA Supermarket.

The Deafness Foundation is dedicated to supporting the deaf and hearing impaired through research, prevention, early detection, education and technology.

The Foundation's logo is the butterfly, because butterflies are deaf and are also very beautiful.

Butterfly badges are sold to help raise the awareness of hearing impairment and the proceeds go towards one of the Foundation's many programs to help the deaf and hearing impaired.

Gold plated butterfly badges are available for $2 at all IGA stores in Victoria during the month of May.
