DeafNation Becomes 2007 Deaflympics Bronze Medal Partner

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (June 16, 2005) — DeafNation, Inc., of Frederick, Maryland, became a Bronze Medal Partner of the 16th Deaflympic Winter Games, scheduled to be held February 1-10, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. DeafNation's Chief Executive Officer Joel Barish and 2007 Deaflympics Organizing Committee Chairperson Dwight Benedict signed an agreement in which DeafNation provides 2007 Deaflympics Organizing Committee with promotional media support through numerous Deaf community events hosted by DeafNation; DeafNation Expos, golf tournaments, art festivals, and the DeafNation website before, during and after the 2007 Deaflympic Winter Games

DeafNation has videotaped 2007 Deaflympic Winter Games' Kick-Off hosted by Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. last February and the "500 Days to 2007 Deaflympics" press conference hosted by Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson on September 9, 2005. Video clips of these press conferences will be available on the DeafNation website at www.DeafNation.com.

Barish stated, "DeafNation has been providing media services to the Deaflympics since 1999, and is honored to be a part of the continued support of such services for the 2007 Deaflympic Winter Games." In addition, Benedict said, "The 2007 Organizing Committee is very proud and thrilled that DeafNation will promote the Games because they are able to reach out to a large number of Deaf people around the world."
