MedBio’s Speak ‘n Read voice recognition hearing aid, or assistive listening device, is being very well received by the deaf community.
As of today MedBio has 44 sales territories across the country providing the system. It is expected this number will reach 100 by the end of 2005. This will make the system and service support available to almost everyone.
The SNR system now comes on two computer platforms; the Sony and the OQO.
It is available in ten languages: US English, German, Italian, Japanese, Mexican Spanish, Spanish, Australian English. UK English, French, Dutch, India English, and Portuguese. It also has US Medicine and US Law dictionaries.
