Meeting discusses how to improve deaf services

Deaf Resource Connection will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 16. at the new Children's Services Building of Burrell Behavioral Health, 1300 E. Bradford Parkway.

Sam Long will discuss how interpreting services can be improved at hospitals, the police department and the highway patrol.

Anyone wanting to discuss other ideas to help improve services in the area can send an e mail to lgeier@ sprg.mercy.net.

The Deaf Resource Connection is a group of hearing and deaf persons who are working together to improve services in the area.
