Scotland Deaf Rugby are to take on their Japanese rivals on Sunday 28 August, at Pontypridd RFC as part of the tourists' 12-day tour of the British Isles.
In an effort to promote the development and awareness of the world-wide deaf rugby community, the Scotland team will travel to their adopted home in south Wales to take on the visitors.
Neil Houston, secretary of Scotland Deaf RFC, said: "Scottish Deaf Rugby see this match as their opportunity to assist in the development of the deaf rugby community throughout the world and a step further towards the 2005/06 Four Nations Championships and in the longer term a European Championship".
Japan's opening match on 21 August will see them take on England Deaf at Maidstone, and three days later Wales Deaf will host the tourists at Caerphilly.
Everyone is welcome to come and support the internationals and tickets will cost £5 for adults and £1 for under-16 and OAPs.
