A Message from the National Theatre of the Deaf

From: NTD - Sep 27, 2005

Hello friends of the National Theatre of the Deaf!

Now booking for the 2005-2006 Touring Season
Fingers Around the World- Next Stop: South of the Border

The FINGERS AROUND THE WORLD series continues to see Alice off into another Wonderland. The audience will accompany her to the country of Mexico and be treated to a fiesta full of history and culture. Alice will share with you brand new adventures with her old friends from the Lewis Carroll classic. You will experience the Day of the Dead, which is the origin of Halloween as well as Cinco de Mayo, which commemorates Mexico’s victory over the French Army in 1862. Not only will you see every word in American Sign Language and hear it in spoken English but also receive a generous helping of Mexican Sign Language and spoken Spanish!
