Gallaudet Opens its Doors
Open House will take place Oct. 14

(WASHINGTON) Gallaudet University will conduct an open house on Oct. 14, 2005.

During that time, prospective students have the opportunity to see what Gallaudet is all about. Because choosing a university is one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make, we welcome you to get an up-close and inside view of who we are and what we do. Visit our campus. Ask questions. College is about advancing your knowledge of the world, making lifelong friends, learning more about yourself, preparing for a career, but, most importantly, it is about charting and creating your future. We are ready. Are you?

Activities include:

Continental Breakfast
Breakfast is on us! Pick up your schedule and meet Dr. I. King Jordan, President of Gallaudet University.

It's Academic!
Talk about your career dreams and goals. Meet our faculty members and ask questions. Uncertain about a major? Talk to our academic advisors!

Campus Tour
Take a tour with a student tour guide. See classrooms, athletic facilities, residence halls, and the student center.

Student Panel
Students will share their candid views on life at Gallaudet. Meet them and ask questions.

Student/Parent Connections
Learn about what services are available. Staff representative will be on hand to talk about admissions, careers, financial aid, services, audiological and speech services, multi-cultural programs as well as our program for new signers.

Lunch with Faculty and Students
Lunch is not only nutritious, it is also fun, informative, and free. Have an all-you-can-eat lunch with our faculty, staff, and students.
