MIAMI, FL, – MTI Home Video, the leading independent home entertainment studio, will release the comedy NOTHING, a film about two friends who would like nothing more than for the world of callous employers, malicious neighbors and backstabbing girlfriends to just go away… to their shock and horror their wish comes true!

NOTHING is directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Cypher, Paris, je t'aime) and stars David Hewlett (Treed Murray, Cube, Cypher), Andrew Miller (Thanks of a Grateful Nation, Last of the Dogmen), Marie-Josée Croze (Barbarian Invasion, Maelstrom, Ararat) with a special appearance by Gordon Pinsent (The Shipping News, Due South). The screenplay was written by Miller and Andrew Lowery, a.k.a. The Drews (Boys and Girls, Simon Sez). Natali, who is currently directing the 8th segment of the upcoming film Paris, je t'aime starring Willem Dafoe, Gena Rowlands, and Orlando Bloom, gained an international following with his debut feature, Cube. NOTHING was produced by Steve Hoban (Ginger Snaps, Cyberworld) and executive produced by Noah Segal (Ryan, Ginger Snaps).

The DVD release will be shown in 16:9 Widescreen Format, with 5.1 Dolby Digital and 2.0 Dolby Surround, a Filmmakers Commentary, the featurette: "The Making of Nothing," Interactive Menus, Scene Selection, Trailers, Optional Spanish Subtitles, and English Subtitles for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired.

SYNOPSIS:

Find out what happens when two losers are somehow given the power to make the things they despise disappear off the face of the earth? That’s the premise of NOTHING, a wildly hilarious trip into the downfall of two underachievers and the Dali-esque nightmare they unwittingly create for themselves. After casting off career, family, friends, society, and ultimately the world, they are literally left with NOTHING!
