NTID APPOINTS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 15—Bryan C. Hensel of Rochester has been named Development Officer for the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology. He previously was associate director of Alumni Relations for RIT's College of Business.
Hensel will be responsible for NTID's endowed scholarship program; annual fund; donor relations with alumni, corporations and foundations; and all aspects of alumni programming designed to enhance involvement and financial support.
Hensel has a master's degree in Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, both from RIT, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
Hensel is a member of the RIT United Way Steering Committee and the RIT Campus Campaign Committee.
NTID is the first and largest technological college in the world for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. One of eight colleges of RIT, NTID offers educational programs and access and support services to its 1,100 students from around the world who study, live, and socialize with 14,400 hearing students on RIT's Rochester, N.Y., campus.
