For immediate release.

Saguaro Interpreting Services, a Deaf-owned interpreting agency serving Southern Arizona, is thrilled to host two workshops presented by Howard Rosenblum, a Deaf attorney from Chicago, Illinois. He will present twice, once for Deaf consumers and the other for interpreters during the November 4-6 weekend.

Mr. Rosenblum will present a FREE workshop for the Deaf community called "WHY WON’T THEY PROVIDE INTERPRETERS??? How Can Deaf People Get Interpreters from Doctors, Lawyers & Others". The workshop will be held at the Pima Community College West Campus on Friday, November 4, 2005 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Refreshments will be provided.

Workshop for Deaf community

Mr. Rosenblum will also present a workshop for interpreters, "YES! INTERPRETERS DO HAVE LEGAL RIGHTS! An Overview of Interpreters' Legal Rights & Responsibilities". The workshop will also be held at the Pima Community College West Campus on Saturday, November 5, 2005 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The workshop will be worth .4 CEUs. The cost for this workshop will be $40 if paid by September 30th, and $50 after October 1.
