DEAFVISION DONATES TO KATRINA RELIEF EFFORT
(San Francisco, CA - September 5, 2005) -- DeafVision, Inc., a Deaf minority owned and operated web hosting and development company based in San Francisco, wants to do its part to help with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The company announced today that it plans to automatically renew all expiring web hosting and domain renewal registration fees for the next year for existing DeafVision customers affected by Katrina in the New Orleans and gulf coast areas.
"The devastation and tragic loss caused by Katrina are overwhelming," said DeafVision's CEO, Dragonsani Renteria. "We want to give our customers one less thing to worry about in this great time of need. Our hearts go out to all those affected."
DeafVision is also donating an undisclosed cash sum to the American Red Cross and is matching dollar for dollar of all contributions made by its employees to help with the Katrina relief efforts. The company has also pledged to donate an additional 15% of the proceeds of all new web hosting accounts ordered between now and December 31 to the American Red Cross.
