Hands On Services and Company President Ronald Obray Receive Prestigious "Golden Hand" and Community Services Awards from the Nevada Association of the Deaf

Rocklin, CA (October 4, 2005)-Hands On Video Relay Service, Inc (www.hovrs.com) is pleased to announce that Ronald E. Obray, President of Hands On Services, received two awards at the Nevada Association of the Deaf Conference on September 17, 2005.

The Nevada Association of the Deaf Conference in Henderson, Nevada presented Ronald Obray with two awards, "The Golden Hand Award" and "Community Service Award" to Hands On Video Relay Services, Inc.

Obray received The Golden Hand Award in recognition of his outstanding and innovative service efforts to enhance deaf people in their communities. Hands On received the Community Service Award for providing outstanding service to the benefit of the Deaf community. The Golden Hand Award is a Nevada statewide program of recognition which is jointly sponsored by the State Association of the Deaf and the National Association of the Deaf. The program seeks to identify and focus local and statewide attention on outstanding and innovative service efforts.

Ronald E. Obray, who is the Child of Deaf Adults, known as CODA, constantly strives to provide quality Sign Language Services by offering both Community Interpreting and Video Relay Services (VRS). Obray believes in breaking down communication barriers for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community nationwide and has set this as his life goal.

What does "breaking down communication barriers for the Deaf and Hard-Of-Hearing Community" really mean for Obray?
