Lost At Sea Memorial in memory of Johnny W. Brown

Johnny W. Brown was featured in a recent article on Deaf Today. He was a deaf commercial fisherman that was lost at sea on April 2, 2005.

His family started a memorial in his honor to build a lost at sea monument in Murrells Inlet, S.C. This monument will be in his memory but will have names added each year of those lost at sea.

We would like to let everyone know that this we have raised over $16,000 and made our first down payment on the monument. The total cost will be about $23,000 and we need to raise about $8,000 more.
