Eleven shows…40 performances…no interpreters needed! Quest, the company that produced Gallaudet University’s Deaf Way II Opening Ceremony and International Arts Festival joins forces with Towson University, Theatre Project, Creative Alliance, Baltimore Mayor’s Office for Promotion and the Arts, VSA arts Maryland, and the Maryland Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing to produce QuestFest, a two-week visual theatre festival slated for January 9 – 22.
Deaf Way II artists Willy Conley (USA), Asphyxia (Australia), Ramesh Mayapan (Singapore) along with Pilobolus Too, one of our nation’s most innovative dance companies, PUSH, based in Rochester, New York and described as a cross between fine art sculpture and the hit movie The Matrix, just to name a few promise audiences and exciting array of rich and inventive theatre. In addition to the performances, QuestFest also offers master classes, panel discussions, residencies, workshops, and post-show discussions.
