Exciting ASL Announcement!
Arizona Total Immersion, one of the nations leading sign language programs, is now open for its 2006 registration! This full-immersion program is excellent for anyone who is learning or using sign language. Here is a little info about the program:
Total immersion is the most interactive, comprehensive and effective method of learning American Sign Language (ASL). National leaders from the Deaf community offer a diversity of exposure to their culture and language in a 5 day, no voice retreat.
There are 2 different programs to choose from:
July 8 -12, Carefree, AZ at Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center
Ju1y 15 -19, Kansas City, MO at the Elms Resort.
Designed for:
Professionals with Deaf Clients (doctors, lawyers, clergy, counselors, co-workers etc.)
Vocational Rehab Employees
Teachers of the Deaf
Sign Language Students
Sign Language Interpreters
You will want to hurry because there only 50 slots for each retreat available. Currently each retreat is about ½ filled. There are 6 RID CEUS available. You won't find a better ASL experience anywhere. Please forward and post this announcement for anyone you feel would be interested.
