"A CELEBRATION OF LOVE"

A romantic Valentine's Day Luncheon to celebrate our love for our spouses and partners, for our friends and acquaintances, for our deaf and hard of hearing community celebrities and colleagues, and for the community of non-communication disabled persons and students who have assisted and helped us with their love and support.

Saturday February 11, 2006, 11:30-3:30pm, on the romantic outside patio of the Holly Street Bar and Grill, 175 East Holly Street, Pasadena, California 91103.

Holly Street Bar and Grill is a historic landmark in Old Pasadena that marries old world charm with contemporary undertones. The courtyard looks like a small European town. The interior is uncluttered with contemporary art and luxurious seating -- a perfect location for our celebration of love and romance for Valentine's Day! This is a private event -- the restaurant will be closed to the public during our Celebration of Love Valentine's Day Luncheon.

Valentine's Day is a celebration day of love, romance and kind, gentle hearts. The deaf and hard of hearing community is well known for our love of others, for our wonderful hugs, and our communication form of signing that can express emotions that words alone cannot express! Valentine's Day is a time for all of us to share our love with each other!

To help us celebrate love in all of its many forms, we are honored to be assisted by CJ Jones, one of the most loving and caring celebrities in the deaf community, as our Master of Ceremonies.

Our resident "love and romance expert," Patrick Seamans, Ph.D., a born deaf community member raised and educated in France, the nation of love and romance, and in Paris, the international city of love and romance, will present information about Valentine's Day.

We all love great food! We will have a truly romantic gourmet luncheon of Grilled Chicken Breast in a Whole Grain Mustard Cognac Sauce, with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and seasonal Vegetables. Unlimited baskets of crusty bread and butter. Unlimited coffee, iced tea and soft drinks. And, an even more romantic Vanilla Gelato dessert! [Because we also love Vegetarians... let us know if you want a vegetarian pasta plate instead of chicken, when you make your reservations].

For our love of rhythms and music, we will have the wonderful, caring deaf professional DJ, Joe McRoberts, and entertainment by incredible breakdancing performers.

And for our love of the visual arts -- bring your own handmade Valentine Card or artwork! We will all vote for the best artistic expression of love and romance, with PRIZES awarded!

Don't miss this event! This is the one time in the whole year for celebrating love and romance with the people you love, and with your friends and acquaintances. Bring your friends and family members, as this event is to celebrate love in all forms, and in all ways, using all kinds of communication.

HOW TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR THIS EVENT...

Reservations are REQUIRED for this very special private event, by February 11, 2006. Reservations are STRICTLY limited to the first 200 people, so make your reservations as soon as possible!

GENERAL ADMISSION: $25.00 per person.

SPECIAL ADMISSION: Because we love EVERYONE in our community, and we recognize that some people in our community have limited incomes, we offer a Special Admission of $22.00 to those who fax or mail us proof of current SSI benefits with their registration.

RESERVATIONS BY CREDIT CARD: You can pay with your credit card before February 11th. Provide the cardholder's name, address, phone number, credit card number and credit card expiration date through www.wrad.org ( paypal)

RESERVATIONS BY PERSONAL CHECK: Mail your personal check to WRAD, PO Box 3211, Quartz Hill, CA 93586. Personal checks must be received by February 4, 2006.

RESERVATIONS BY MONEY ORDER OR BANK CASHIER'S CHECK: Mail your Money Order or Cashier's Check to WRAD, PO Box 3211, Quartz Hill, CA 93586. Money Orders and Cashier's Checks must be received by February 8, 2006.

LATE RESERVATION PAYMENTS: If you have made your reservation by February 11, 2006, but you need more time to pay for your reservation, we will accept cash at the door on the day of the event.
