Writing contest for students with hearing loss

Students in tenth- and eleventh grade with hearing loss may participate in The SpiRIT Writing Contest, recently announced by Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf.
Tenth graders can win a scholarship to Explore Your Future, a summer career exploration program for deaf or hard-of-hearing high school students at the institute. Eleventh graders can win a two-day visit including room and board with a parent to the institute, plus a $500 stipend that can be applied to travel expenses or used at the RIT bookstore.
