From 10th until 14th of May 2007 we will present the second edition of Deaf in the Picture:
New Deaf Cinema

In 2003 this unique international festival with international films of and about Deaf took place for the first time in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Deaf in the Picture 2 promises to be one of the most interesting international stages for deaf filmmakers and their audiance.

Under the name Young Deaf Cinema' films of deaf youngsters will be showed at the festival

The festival will also give special attention to the role and image-forming of deaf in 'hearing movies'.

Every day there will be a debat with filmmakers.

Every night there will be a after party with special equipment and VJ's.

The Festival will take place in three halls all situated at Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam.
