“I enjoy seeing people laugh.”

August 13, 2006 – Hollywood, CA. Trix Bruce travels to a wide array of venues, from coast to coast including universities, high schools, and American Sign Language (ASL) events. Trix is widely popular as a teacher of ASL storytelling and interpretation. She impresses audiences at all levels of the ASL spectrum - from novices to fluent experts.

On August 20th and the 21st Trix will take Hollywood by storm as she performs her ‘One Deaf-Woman’ show at the historic National Comedy Theatre on Seward Street. Trix will perform on two-nights for a total of six-shows that will enthrall audiences of all ages. She will showcase her most requested performances: A Story Worth A Thousand Signs, The Hearing World Around Me, and The Improv Comedy Spotlight.

Ticket prices range from $15 to $ 20, and will be sold at the door. Trix will also hold a press conference at the same venue on the 20th of August, 10:30 am and we are inviting the members of the press to come meet Trix.

Patricia “Trix” Bruce is known nationwide as both a workshop presenter and as an American Sign Language (ASL) performer. Trix’s work has been warmly received everywhere - from local community centers, to state, regional, and the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID) conferences, Deaf Way II, interpreters’ conventions and more.

Trix would like to thank Hilton Checkers and 711 Relay for their support and all of her family and friends for making this dream of a life time come true.
