From: via Email - Oct 18, 2006
Centuries ago Beethoven composed music without hearing a sound. Today, the deaf and hard of hearing community uses words, feelings, and expressions in the book, Deaftionary.
For example:
Rice-rocks: He said the rice broke the mower.
submitted by Sam
Lox-loss: The bank brought up a lox at the office.
submitted by Rachel
Suit-sweet: The waiter told us about the suit potato.
