Official statement on today’s events:

Order is being restored to campus. It is important to have our students, faculty and staff feel safe and secure as they attend classes. For those who are exercising their free speech rights, they must not infringe on those who disagree with them.

We have bent over backwards to accommodate the protestors and they have responded by violating all the guidelines they had previously agreed to. They are intimidating other students, destroying property, and violating the student code of conduct. We will take whatever steps are necessary to restore order to campus.
