Deaf awareness carnival opens at the National Library

SINGAPORE: A carnival has kicked off this weekend to raise awareness and educate the public about the deaf community in Singapore.
The two-day carnival at the National Library has various booths to showcase hearing aids and cochlear implants.
Professionals are also at hand to speak about topics related to deafness.
Minister of State for Health, Mr Heng Chee How, launched the carnival and toured the exhibition.
The event is organised by the Singapore Association for the Deaf and the National Library Board.
