A School that Teaches Children to Think

From: CSDF - Feb 8, 2007

Dear Community Members,

California School for the Deaf is a state-funded program that provides high quality education to deaf and hard of hearing children of no cost to families. There would be parents are not aware of what is available for their children in the state of California. It is not fair for those parents to not be informed of this FREE education their children could receive through the state.

There is an informative pamphlet available online now, go to http://www.csdf.k12.ca.us/
and see the new pamphlet explaining what the California School for the Deaf (CSD) does for children. CSD is a school that teaches children to think!

If you want a copy of the pamphlets already printed on paper, contact the Outreach Division at 510 794 3707 (TTY/V/VP) or email Virginia Foletta at vfoletta@csdf-cde.ca.gov and leave your mailing address. If you know of a family with a deaf child who could benefit from receiving this pamphlet, let us know.

Thank you for helping making lives of deaf and hard of hearing children better.

Sincerely,

Bridgetta Bourne-Firl
Chair of Community Advisory Council and Coordinator of Outreach Programs
